Hello all, Slick here. Mantic's latest newsletter is out and there are some new minis coming for the Undead! Check out the Revenant cavalry below!

Plastic-Resin Revenant Cavalry! There has been a lot of buzz about our Fantastic Revenant Knight miniatures ever since they were first seen as a metal product. From the beginning there have been rumours, and even a few hints from us here at Mantic, that if the Revenant Knights proved popular we would make them in plastic. Well the day has finally come, we can officially announce that we are releasing Plastic-Resin Revenant Knights! And for those of you who just can’t wait, you can pre-order them here! What is Resin-Plastic? It is a material that sits half way between the normal plastic we use, and resin. We like the amazing detail it gives on the figures. On the site you will get to see a full unit of 10 Revenant Knights painted – and they look fantastic. You glue the models together with regular super glue (not plastic glue), and there isn’t any actual resin in the product – it just looks and feels quite similar. There is much more detail on the blog, and photos on the site. So, tell us about the price… We’ll that is really one of the great things – we are able to offer 10 Undead Revenant Knights for the same price as 5 metal ones!! So now you get twice the models (so double the death!) for the same price as before (and we like to think our limited edition metal ones were already considerably cheaper than the market generally - you know who I mean ;) These models obviously work in the new Kings of War fantasy battle wargame, but they are also seem to be proving to very popular in Undead armies for certain other fantasy wargames! Gamescon Leicester 2010 Gamescon is a convention in Leicester being held this weekend on Sunday. Chris Palmer: Our resident event representative, will be there with a large Mantic Stand. He will be running demo games, showing off some of our display miniatures and generally answering any questions you guys have. The event is being held at Leicester Race Course, and is set to be a great day. The first floor is full of trade stands, there will be all sorts on display. In approximately 6 months time we intend to revise the rules again, using all the feedback we have received, and publish a second version. Will you lead the Undead Horde to victory? Open Day The Open Day is continuing to build momentum, tickets are proving to be popular, which is great to see, as we here at Mantic would love to meet as many of you as possible. We will have to stop selling ticket shortly, so please pick up your ticket soon. The Open Day is being held on the 9th October 2010 with doors opening at 10am, with last entry at 4pm, though our doors won't close until 5pm. We will have all of our painted miniatures on display, and there will be a store set-up where you will be able to purchase any of our product range - and loose plastic sprues! “Celebrities” will be in attendance, including the star of all the video blogs you all know and love. Alessio Cavatore will be attending and we can now confirm that both Mike McVey and Bob Naismith are going to be here with us. You can talk to them about all things Mantic. Bob sculpted the incredible new Zombies, and Mike will be painting some during the day - which we intend to give away as prizes! We will also be running demos of our brand new game so you will get to feel the full Kings of War experience using two of our beautifully painted armies. Hello all, Slick here. Mantic's latest newsletter is out and their new Malak miniature is up for pre-order! It looks like a fairly nice centerpiece for an undead army. There is also a corresponding army deal being offered, so if you want to amass an undead horde and not spend big money, then you might want to check that out.

Hello all, Slick here. The latest Mantic newsletter is out and there are some pretty good new releases: more of their Undead range is out, and check out that cool dragon for the High Elves! Last but not least check out the Mantic Paint set!

Mantic Towers (which you can see in our new Guided Tour video), has a new gatekeeper – Garius Maximus, and he has some new and shiny things to show you this Easter!

To start with, we have two brand new metal kits: the Undead Death Kings Cabal and the Elf Lord on Battle Dragon, available for preorder.

With the Warhosts of the Undead now spilling into the mortal world, the Death Kings Cabal features 4 metal heroes -2 Necromancers, a Revenant Hero and a standard bearer – to lead your Undead horde into battle. Dynamically posed and possessed of fine detail, these insane characters raise up the remains of former soldiers to fight again once more and are included free in Malak's Legion of Death!

For the Elves, nothing is more intimidating than an Elf Lord on Battle Dragon, and we proudly unveiled this figure in the mantic blog last week. The Battle Dragon is a premium metal kit and is great for those hobbyists who want to flex their painting muscles, or for gamers wanting to add the most powerful of heroes to their army. An Elf Lord on his own is a formidable opponent: coupled with a Battle Dragon, he is nigh on unstoppable.

These two sets will be released on the 26th April and, to celebrate, we've also added a new Army Deal. Tydarion's Dragon Host combines two Elven Warhost – over 100 plastic figures including 40 Spearmen, 40 Bowmen, 20 Scouts and 2 warmachines – with an Elf Dragon's Breath, Elf Kings Court, Elf Stormwind Riders and a FREE Elf Lord on Battle Dragon. With 16 Mantic Points, 5 cavalry figures, a plethora of infantry and warmachines, a mighty court of 4 Elven Heroes and a devastatingly powerful and beautifully detailed Dragon Lord, the Elves can finally take the fight to Mhorgoth's dread Undead horde.

Undead Paintset

With huge battles comes a huge number of miniatures, and a very busy painting station. We've been hard at work collaborating on a new set of colours called Warpaints, high quality acrylic paints that are the best available for painting miniatures with, and April sees our first paint set available for pre-order.

Released on the 26th April, the Undead Paintset contains six 15ml Warpaints – Black, White, Bone, Armour, Blue and Red – a sprue of 10 highly detailed plastic skeletons and a quality paint brush, all wrapped up in a Mantic Carry Case, and even includes a Mantic Point!

Hello all, Slick here. Another Mantic Newsletter hit the inbox and again it's packed full of awesome new stuff. More Undead are being released and it looks like the Elves are getting a lord on a dragon soon as well! Also, Mantic is starting their points reward program which looks like it has some pretty cool prizes available. They are also apparently set to release their own paint range soon. It definitely looks like Mantic is doing well and doing things the right way --- making the customers happy. If you haven't checked their site yet, I would definitely recommend it!

FREE MINIATURES AND OTHER REWARDS!

Mantic Games are proud to announce the launch of their reward scheme – Mantic Points - you can save your points to claim exclusive rewards.

In every box of Mantic product there is a number of Mantic Points (usually on the sticker sheet; you normally get 1 per 10 figures or per Warmachine), so a Warhost will get you 6 Mantic points (as well as already being fantastic value for a big box of fun!). We will also give them out at events and as competition prizes.

You stick the points on to a collector’s card, and send them in to us and we redeem them. Cards can be found in mail orders, packed in the product, at your local hobby store, and downloadable from the web (you can always use a piece of paper from home – just remember to add your name and address to it!)

This week sees the new Revenant Regiment up for advance order.

This regiment allows you to add a heavily armoured skeleton unit to your Undead Army, and each set comes with loads of head swaps, extra bits of Revenant armour and numerous conversion possibilities. Challenge continues! Last week we raised a challenge – can you beat the boss in speed building a unit of 10 Skeletons?
